let's go Froakland

It's official: the A's are moving to Fremont. I don't blame Oakland for not throwing money at the team, as there are more important things to worry about. Still, a big part of the A's identity was their location: they've always had an image of being a combination of tough and maverick, just like the city that brought you the black panthers, yet is, after all, physically connected to Berkeley. From the swingin' A's to Billyball to moneyball; from MC Hammer getting his start as a ballboy to the best mascot in the majors, the hyphy-dancing Stomper the elephant, the A's have been Oakland at their core. It won't be the same in Fremont.
