Terrorist Fist Jab

It sounds like a move you might find on one of those late-80s action figures, like Predator with his "whipping dreadlocks" or GI Joe's "kung-fu grip." It's certainly not something I would use to describe this:
Yet Fox News, in a teaser for a segment on body language wondered how to describe it:
"A fist bump? A pound? A terrorist fist jab? ... We'll show you some interesting body communication and find out what it really says."
The Fox News anchor has now offered a lame apology: I didn't mean to say that I thought it was a terrorist fist jab, it's just something that other people were saying:
[from TPM, which notes that the anchor's show has just been cancelled]

UPDATE: The Tampa Bay Rays (!) have a nice video history of the fist bump: Kennesaw Mountain Landis=the Fox News of his time? Link via deadspin
