That describes Mel Gibson, according to Christopher Hitchens, in another unfailingly bombastic rant in Slate. Hitchens also describes Passion of the Christ as a "twistedly homoerotic spank-movie."
Indeed, there now seems little doubt that Gibson is a real anti-semite: when pulled over for speeding, he asked his arresting officer if he was Jewish, and then proceeded to complain that "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world" while occasionally muttering "Fucking Jews."
