NBC has three commentators to talk about the debate:
1. Peggie Noonan - Republican hack, who criticized the Palin pick when it was announced (off the air, of course), but was ready with talking points today
2. Michelle Norris (NPR) - a liberal bent, but still tries to be somewhat balanced, as a good journalist should be.
3. Jane Swift - former republican governor. See #1.

Seems to me if you're going to have hacks with pre-written lines, you ought to balance them out.
