British and French nuclear submarines crash into each other in the middle of the Atlantic. Fortunately, the damage wasn't too serious. It's a reminder that even the most advanced technology is not immune from screw-ups. In this case, it's possible that the anti-sonar technology that makes submarines so hard to detect may have caused each sub to be invisible to the other!
